Communities for Peace-C4P

The project aims to improve the socio-economic recovery of conflict-affected communities through addressing their livelihood, housing, infrastructure and social transformation needs. An integrated area-based approach is being adopted for this project in order to maximize available resources over the eight districts.

Objectives

  • Address sustainable livelihood needs of IDP’s, returnees, host and other vulnerable communities.
  • Create an enabling environment for peaceful coexistence, targeting youth through sports for peace in conflict prone villages.
  • Strengthen institutions and decision-making bodies at community level.
