What we do

 

Immediate Income Generation for livelihood Project (CHAP 1)

This project helped in supporting conflict-affected returnees in Mannar and Vavuniya with immediate economic recovery. The project targeted individuals whose livelihood had been affected by the conflict. The project provided immediate assistance to such individuals by means of short-term and temporary employment in order to help them re-establish their livelihood.

Objectives

  • 802 individuals and 150 families benefited through the construction of internal roads
  • 2172 families benefited through the rehabilitation of internal roads
  • 435 individuals benefitted from rehabilitation /construction of drainage system.
