National Compliance Action Plan for Phasing out Ozone Depleting Substances

This project seeks to phase out ozone depleting substances by identifying users and providing support for them to convert processes in to ozone-friendly alternatives.

Objectives

  • Incentives to convert industrial and commercial refrigeration units to non-CFC
  • Retrofitting vehicle air conditioning units with ozone friendly gases
  • Helping air-conditioning workshops by providing equipment to recover and recycle CFCs without allowing them to escape to the environment.
