What we do

programme
The Peace and Recovery cluster broadly focuses on strengthening peace-building through support to state and civil society organizations and facilitating the socio-economic recovery of the conflict-affected populations of Sri Lanka. The cluster hosts the Transition Recovery Programme which delivers a comprehensive package of socio-economic support for communities directly or indirectly affected by the conflict in Northern and Eastern Sri Lanka as well as the Support to Mine Action Project, which provides capacity and coordination support to mine action activities in the country. Presently, the cluster also hosts a project aimed at supporting the Government of Sri Lanka in the formulation of a national policy on resettlement for IDPs and is also exploring an initiative for strengthening the bilingual competencies of the public administration.
